A mains filter is an assembly that limits electrical interference, mainly symmetrical (also known as differential mode), asymmetrical (also known as common mode) and asymmetrical (normal mode) interference from electronic equipment into the public power supply network, as well as improving the electromagnetic compatibility of electrical equipment against interference from the power supply network. The EMC Directive specifies permissible limits for local installations, which you can comply with using our EMC mains filters.
